On the 22nd February 2009, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson along with a 60-piece Orchestra performed a Tribute concert for the late Prolific Beat God - James “DILLA” Yancey. The event was captured live under the eye and direction of B+ with the result being the “SUITE FOR MA DUKES” DVD, featuring the likes of Bilal, Dwele, Talib Kweli, Posdnuos, Common and many more… all celebrating and honoring one of Hip Hop’s greatest producers of all time.
HIT ENTERTAINMENT IN ASSOCIATION WITH STONES THROW AND MOCHILLA presented 2 exclusive screenings of this amazing event to limited available seats at the Labia Cinema, on the 19th August 2010, accompanied by DILLA Beats from Local Dj’s Raiko and I.D.
